Compared to a continuous curvilinear capsulorrhexis, which approximates or does not specify the point of fixation, the ZEPTO® capsulotomy is centered along the visual axis intracamerally using Purkinje images.

Manual CCC

During manual CCC, it is common for the surgeon to approximate and create the CCC around the dilated pupil without specifying patient fixation. Manual CCC is inherently subject to difficulties in achieving consistent roundness and symmetry in the dilated pupil.
